I’m tired of spilling
These endless tears,
Over a broken heart
And a loss suffered.
Tired of giving a damn
About a shadow figure,
Never real,
Just an imaginary friend.

To mend a love
Once strong and sweet
Now long dead and decayed.
Tired of today and tomorrow,
And every thought burning
This sick philosophy
Into my skin.

Little Angel
I’m on fire
Speeding toward the ground,
Gravity unrelenting
I’m being pushed down.
Burning flesh destroys
Graceful wings of beauty,
The light is fading faster
And the darkness grows.
Gasping for breath
Like a floundering fish,
Head dizzy and spinning,
Oblivious to the pain.
I see the end in sight,
Peace and sleep will kiss
My charred and broken skin,
Rest little angel.
